A tour of Japan with the Pioneers in 1975 led to this unprecedented collaboration with guitarist/vocalist Toshikatsu Uchiumi of rock band the Carol for a curious mix of reggae, rock and blues, with Uchiumi singing in Japanese on most tracks and adding lead guitar licks in places. Produced by Sidney Crooks, Cimarons fans need this one-off wonder to fully appreciate their innovation and the album will also appeal to fans of mid-70s Japanese rock. A great listen!
