Despu\u00e9s del lanzamiento del famoso y cl\u00e1sico \u00e1lbum doble en 1970 en Plus, el quinteto Tomorrow’s Gift se separ\u00f3 en 1971, pero Manfred R\u00fcrup y Bernd Kiefer mantuvieron la banda en marcha. Reclutaron a Zabba Lindner (bater\u00eda) de Sphinx Tush y grabaron \u00abGoodbye Future\u00bb (1972) como tr\u00edo, \u00a1un t\u00edtulo ir\u00f3nico considerando el nombre del grupo! Seg\u00fan Dag Erik Asbjornsen (Cosmic Dreams at Play), el \u00e1lbum fue t\u00e9cnicamente mejor que el primer \u00e1lbum, ya que Conny Plank se encarg\u00f3 de la ingenier\u00eda y la producci\u00f3n.
