The Doubling Riders nacieron a mediados de los 80 de las cenizas del gran proyecto experimental\/minimal wave A.T.R.O.X. en torno al tr\u00edo de Francesco Paladino, Pier Luigi Andreoni y Riccardo Sinigaglia (profesor de composici\u00f3n electr\u00f3nica en el Conservatorio de Mil\u00e1n).
A partir de un enfoque de m\u00fasica electr\u00f3nica y trabajando libremente con elementos etno, folk y wave, el sonido de los Doubling Riders fue extremadamente original y dif\u00edcil de clasificar.
Sobre todo material meditativo tranquilo, con algunas influencias electr\u00f3nicas experimentales y folk y algunas vocalizaciones inusuales, algunas cantaban en un extra\u00f1o dialecto italiano.
