Profundizando m\u00e1s, se desarrolla una historia bastante siniestra de enga\u00f1o mediante la cual Mapendo se convierte en un s\u00edmbolo de todo lo que estaba mal en la industria discogr\u00e1fica de Kenia en la d\u00e9cada de 1970 y en la industria musical de \u00c1frica en su conjunto.
