Fundada en Mil\u00e1n en 1969 como Duu Duu, la banda se convirti\u00f3 en Richard Last Group dos a\u00f1os m\u00e1s tarde, cuando el cantante Maurizio Cal\u00f2 se uni\u00f3 a la formaci\u00f3n, pasando a llamarse Richard Coley. m\u00e1s tarde, hacia finales de los a\u00f1os 90.
