This vinyl contains the full set of Cypress Hill live at Woodstock in 1994, the gig that officially made percussionist Eric Bobo a member of the group and the year critics and readers of Rolling Stone Magazine named them Best Rap Group. The pioneering hip-hop sensation left an indelible mark on the festival goers at the revival of the iconic 1969 gathering. The gen X crowd was hyped up by the street poetry of B-Real and Sen Dog as the air filled with smoke from a giant prop hand holding a blunt planted in the middle of the stage. An unforgettable moment in music now on vinyl.

Killers United ’81

Iron Maiden are pioneers of the new wave of British heavy metal, becoming hugely successful in the early 80’s. The band released a series of UK and US platinum and gold albums, including their 1980 debut album ‘Iron Maiden’ and 1981’s ‘Killers’. This is them on their first world tour, the last one with lead singer Paul Di’Anno, who was kicked out of the band after this tour for his extreme drug abuse. Throughout their career, the band’s style has remained largely unchanged and despite a lack of mainstream radio airplay they have remained consistently popular.

BBC Collection 77-78

At the time of their first two albums – 1977’s “In The City” and 1978’s ‘This Is The Modern World’ – Paul Weller, Bruce Foxton and Rick Buckler were frequent guests at radio sessions organized by the British public radio station. This album collects 16 performances from the period, with five tracks from the debut album, six from the successor, A-sides (‘All Around The World’, ‘News Of The World’, ”A’ Bomb In Wardour Street’) and B-sides (‘Carnaby Street’) of singles and a sneak peek from the follow-up ‘All Mod Cons’ (‘Billy Hunt’). Incendiary performances in a style that combined punk and contemporary new wave with 60s mod beat with strong reminiscences of The Who and The Kinks, while Weller’s songwriting talent was already bearing ripe fruit.
