Aguaturbia’s second LP “Volumen 2” (1970) is an essential album to understand the construction of what we know today as Chilean rock. The album is as raw and dynamic as their debut LP, featuring even heavier rhythms, distortion, and exceptional phased female vocals reminiscent of Jefferson Airplane. Comparisons with the Grateful Dead, Country Joe and the Fish and Led Zeppelin can be drawn. Splendid heavy psych and proto-stoner tracks make this album a pioneer recording in the history of South American rock. Malos pensamientos (Gatefold)

El Alamo was a cult Peruvian psychedelic rock band that, as other groups in Lima such as Laghonia, Traffic Sound and Telegraph Avenue did, sung in English aiming to reach the international market. Their only LP was released in 1971 and was recorded under the influence of Hendrix, Santana, and The Allman Brothers. Unavailable for almost two decades, we are now happy to reissue “Malos pensamientos” in its full glory, with gatefold jacket, two bonus tracks taken from their rare 45, and an insert with liner notes.

We are thrilled to present the historical rescue of the only existing recording of Antihéroes, yet another mystery of the Argentine musical underground scene of the 80s, now available on vinyl for the first time. This obscure post punk band show their harshness and darkness in these only two songs they recorded, back in 1985, and which were distributed on a cassette that has today achieved cult status. This release is the result of the collaborative work between Twistin’ Bones (Costa Rica) and Munster Records.

Amazing garage punk cult band featured on the “Brazilian Nuggets” Vol 1 and Vol 2 compilations. Recorded in 1968, this EP is almost impossible to find and has never been sold on Discogs. It comes with a 12-page booklet with liner notes, photos and memorabilia. This release is a collaboration between Discos Nada, Fatiado and Munster Records.

From 1968 to 1974, producers, composers, singers and multi-instrumentalists Peter Howell and John Ferdinando created a total of five albums under different project names, including “Ithaca” and “Agincourt”, which came out as very limited pressings. Incredibly rare and highly sought-after for years, the records contained a magical world brimming with folk music, soft psychedelia, psych-pop and progressive overtones. Munster presents a selection of tracks from those wonderful albums in this 21-track double LP accompanied by a 19-track CD of totally distinct material. Rare debut LP by the eccentric Peruvian singer Jean Paul “El Troglodita”, known for his wild performances and extreme way of life. Often labeled as a nueva ola artist, he rather saw his performance style as a solo artist as following in the footsteps of Los Saicos, also signed to Disperú. The album includes Spanish sung versions of British beat songs and covers of the American songbook as well as various international hits.
