Armed with a Crumar, Multiman 52 with brass pedal and sustain/volume pedal, two Kawai Synthi 100-F, Roland CR-65, Korg PS-3200, Roland Jupiter-4, a Boss flanger, MXR phasing and a TEAC 8-track recorder he produced his first LP, Jazz'Mad, with the help of synth expert sound engineer benoit Hutin. The LP was self-released in 1982 to critic aclaim and generated a fan base that has turned it into a timeless classic, having been reissued four times since then.
But what most people don't know is that Moncollin produced a second album with songs written 1982/1983 that has remained unreleased ever since. Only recently he found the tapes in his parents' house and transfered them for it's first ever vinyl release.
First ever release with Moncollin's art on cover and liner notes by himself. Limited to 500 copies only!

The Unexplained (LP) https://wpguerssen-test.odoo.rgbconsulting.com/product/the-unexplained-lp/ Thu, 27 Aug 2015 22:00:00 +0000 https://wpguerssen-test.odoo.rgbconsulting.com/product/the-unexplained-lp/ Electronic Musical Impressions of the Occult. The great late Mort Garson (1924 - 2008) is a hotshot of electronic music's pioneer days with his groundbreaking occult works such as LUCIFER - Black mass in 1971 and THE ZODIAC - Cosmic sounds in 1967 among others. A different side of his creativity used to be his 1976 PLANTASIA project which was classic inspired album of moog compositions to be played for growing plants. The previous year he offered us this hypnotizing album that takes you onto a weird trip to an even weirder sound world. Metallic sounding drum loops add a proto industrial feel to the swirling waves of colorful synthesizer melodies which draw influences from jazz and exotica music of the 50s and 60s as well as mysterious detective movie soundtracks and pulsating psychedelic rock. There are moments of free form electronic oscillations with layers of synthetic whistling and buzzing shifted upon each other next to passages with a hot blooded groove that interfuse your soul and make you drift away on a gently flowing river of sound. This album can be recommended to all lovers of the more experimental 1970s electronics and definitely compete with all these fine German musical collectives such as CLUSTER, TANGERINE DREAM or whatever act Klaus Schulze was involved with but also to freaks who love the progressive soundtrack art of the Italian horror movies of the same time by GOBLIN and other masters. ATARAXIA - The unexplained is a fascinating album that even shows these pulsating synthesized rhythms later to appear with many dance productions. Another pioneer work of a true artist who loved the challenge to cross borders and explore new territories of sound.

But you know that already. A vinyl version of his majestic Colors Of Silence has been craved by the Balearic cognoscenti ever since its low-key 2001 release. Indeed, when we first started work on Be With, we asked some pals with exquisite taste what their dream release would be. We asked Balearic legend Moonboots and, without hesitation, he said Colors Of Silence by Wally Badarou. We didn't know Wally had made this album. And most still don't. But that's about to change.

Back in Holland, Badings worked as a mining engineer and palaeontologist, but abandoned this career to devote his life to music, making an impact in 1930 with the performance of his first cello concerto. The composer of various symphonies that made use of unusual music scales and uncommon harmonic structures, Badings began experimenting with electronic music in the 1950s, composing the first side of the Electronic Music LP in 1952 for a performance at the Gravesano Music Festival, using 12 oscillators and a violin, the second side in 1958 for a ballet performed by the Hannover Opera Ballet; recorded at Philips' studio in Eindhoven, it utilizes various sound generators, the final track featuring Dick Raaijmakers, a composer and electronic music specialist then employed by Philips in the field of electro-acoustics.

The Aphex Twin-backed Rephlex label notably reworked a handful of Disco Club tracks in 2004, however this is the first ever reissue of the EP in its complete, originally intended sequence. So synonymous is Fèvre's career with this release, he continues to perform internationally as Black Devil Disco Club today. An impossibly rare piece, this edition has been treated to a remaster from the original tapes by Fèvre himself.

Recorded in 1976/7, it remains echoing as a timeless effort, pretty much still alive. This is a deadly serious art piece, accordingly trippy in all its aspects, full of strangeness and sheer beauty. TRACKLIST Side A 1. Midnight 2. Metro/Logic 3. Last Ride of The Boogie Child Side B 1. Synthese Intemporelle 2. Crystal Presence Side C 1. Surf 2. Synthese Intemporelle I 3. Voyage Cerebral https://wpguerssen-test.odoo.rgbconsulting.com/product/voyage-cerebral/ Wed, 14 Jun 2017 22:00:00 +0000 http://guerssen.hl1097.dinaserver.com/product/voyage-cerebral/ "1979 follow-up to his Eclipse debut, Voyage Cerebral was the second effort by french synthetist Didier Bocquet. Like the first album, it was recorded on his own private studio and self-released, this time via legendary french custom label FVLM ("Faites Le Vous-Même", meaning "Do It Yourself"). Inspired by the first wave of german kosmische sound-travellers (Klaus Schulze and Tangerine Dream and the whole Berlin School spring inmediately to mind) but retaining that typical french urgency that places it close to Heldon / Pinhas, Lard Free or even Besombes / Rizet territory. In-your-face sequenced electronic music that sounds both spacy and violent at the same time whilst keeping a certain lo-fi, self produced vibe. Recommended to fans of all things "kosmische" and synth music in general."

Play With Lies https://wpguerssen-test.odoo.rgbconsulting.com/product/play-with-lies/ Sun, 28 Aug 2016 22:00:00 +0000 http://guerssen.hl1097.dinaserver.com/product/play-with-lies/ Cult Club is a Berlin-based electro pop duo. Sally Jørgensen is from Canada and László Antal is from Serbia. Their similar diverse backgrounds in the creative arts and their love for analogue imagery and pop melodies inspired them to collaborate together.

Together their songs range from a dreamy, soft sound to harder driving pop songs. Sally's vocals are layered in a harmony of different sounds and melodies over László's fretless, bass driven music.

Their debut EP Never Enough was released on December 14th, 2015, on Domestica Records. It featured an extended version of their most popular dream-pop song "All the People" to contrast the more chilling cold song versions of "Never Enough".

Their full-length album Play With Lies will be out on June 14th, 2016, on Domestica Records. The album continues to feature sad, dream-pop songs such as "Call My Name" while also containing some straight up pop tracks such as "Play With Lies" and "Talk to Me".

Band members were Gerhard Lisy, Walter Heinisch and Karl Kronfeld, and instruments used included an ARP Sequencer, an ARP 2600, a VCS 3, an EMS Digital Sequencer, a Mellotron M400, a Micro Moog, a Roland Studiosystem 700, a Roland Analogue Sequenzer and an electric guitar. With these weapons and a strong influence from the Berlin school Cultural Noise created a rich electronic tapestry which expanded through the two pieces of this record, one per side, being compared by reviewers to works by Zanov or Anna Själv Tredge. Mentions of Tangerine Dream are also present on reviews, although Cultural Noise have a pretty unique personality on their own and besides sharing the use of Mellotron, sequencers and analog synths we have a totally personal concept here which sets them aside from all TD impersonators of the era.

The album was originally released in 1980 on CBS and later repressed in 1981 which came in a B&W version of the sleeve that some sources list as a self release private pressing done by the band themselves - this has been denied by members of Cultural Noise.

We are proud to offer a 500 copies only reissue, housed in its original full colour version artwork.
