The Rebel (Blue) https://wpguerssen-test.odoo.rgbconsulting.com/product/the-rebel-blue/ Mon, 10 Feb 2025 23:00:00 +0000 https://wpguerssen-test.odoo.rgbconsulting.com/product/the-rebel-blue/ Blue colored vinyl and in a limited edition contains nine rarities from the early stages of Black Sabbath's career. As the abundant and exhaustive notes published on the back cover explain, "The Rebel" (written by Locomotive singer and keyboardist Norman Haines, who was initially expected to join the group and who played piano and organ in the recording made at Trident Studios in London) is a true "holy grail" for collectors dating back to the period in which the band, at that time still known as Earth, was about to change to its definitive name; Haines also wrote the bluesy "When I Came Down", recorded at Zella Studios in Birmingham in October 1969, while the three pieces that complete the A-side of the LP are alternate takes of famous songs later included in the first and homonymous album by Tony Iommi, Ozzy Osbourne, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward. Opening with a cover of "Early One Morning" by bluesman Elmore James, the tracklist of the second side continues with two songs later included in "Black Sabbath" and closes with a version of "Wicked World", published as the B-side of "Evil Woman": the four songs were recorded live on November 16, 1969 at the Rugman's Youth Club in Dumfries, Scotland, on a Grundig reel-to-reel recorder.

Reflections From An Unseen World https://wpguerssen-test.odoo.rgbconsulting.com/product/reflections-from-an-unseen-world/ Sun, 11 Jun 2023 22:00:00 +0000 https://wpguerssen-test.odoo.rgbconsulting.com/product/reflections-from-an-unseen-world/ Reflections from an unseen world is the 4th album by Blue Dawn, Genoa's finest Occult band and their best to date. The album is the first to feature guitar & keyboards player Davide Bruzzi (Il Segno del Comando), who played on tributes to Blue Oyster Cult and Death SS, but this is the first full length album in which he plays, since he joined the band in 2017, shortly after the release of their previous record. His work distinguishes the sound of the album, witch ranges from Heavy Doom to more progressive tracks, embellished by Bruzzi s keyboard touches and flamboyant yet emotional solos, on songs built on powerful and dark riffs created by Andrea Martino(guitar) and Enrico Lanciaprima(bass/vocals), punctuated by the solid drumming of Andrea Di Martino and valued by the gothic voice of singer Monica Santo.

Fandabidozi https://wpguerssen-test.odoo.rgbconsulting.com/product/fandabidozi/ Wed, 26 Mar 2025 23:00:00 +0000 https://wpguerssen-test.odoo.rgbconsulting.com/product/fandabidozi/ Fronted by the explosive, glitter-blasting talents of Siân Greenway, Bobbie Dazzle released their debut 45 (Back To The City/Flowers On Mars) on Rise Above Records earlier this year. It sold out almost instantly, putting them on the map to rock n roll oblivion, from which there is no turning back.
Inspired by the seminal likes of Bowie, T. Rex, Suzi Quatro and The Sweet, West Midlands based Bobbie Dazzle's debut album Fandabidozi is an invigorating rush of massive tunes, infectious riffs and bright-eyed pop-rock bombast. As an antidote to the enervating negativity that surrounds us at this moment in history, it could hardly be more perfect.
A celebratory ten-song time warp that plunders the '70s and drags them kicking and screaming into the here and now, Fandabidozi is absolutely guaranteed to put smiles on faces. From the hard rockin' riot of the opening Lightning Fantasy, to the pop-psych perfection of the closing Flowers On Mars, the first Bobbie Dazzle album works hard to lighten up our lives. Brash and heavy on the classic glam shuffle of Revolution, and deliriously anthemic on the fiery debut single: Back To The City, it covers a huge amount of musical ground while staying true to the principles of '70s glam rock: big riffs, bigger hooks and a prevailing sense that listeners have been hurled into a spinning kaleidoscope of pure euphoria.

Niño Solitario / Rock Para Janis (7″) https://wpguerssen-test.odoo.rgbconsulting.com/product/nino-solitario-rock-para-janis-7/ Thu, 27 Feb 2025 23:00:00 +0000 http://guerssen.hl1097.dinaserver.com/product/nino-solitario-rock-para-janis-7/ Cadenas was one of the first Heavy Rock bands in Argentina back in 1969, along with El Reloj. This band from Rosario played live with such bands as Pappo's Blues or Pescado Rabioso and also was part of B. A. Rock Festival's lineup in 1972.
Niño Solitario/Rock para Janis is the only recording they left us, now reissued for the very first time. This two devastating songs perfectly shows the power of Argentine Heavy Rock in early 70s, with a spectacular voice and an overwhelming rhythm section.
The recording was done in the famous ION studios in Buenos Aires back in 1973, in just one take with later added voices, and collects all the power that the band transmitted playing live.
A piece of argentine rock history finally reissued that no Heavy Rock lover will want to miss.
