Demo-Lition Style (Color)

Demo-lition Style is a compilation of demo recordings by the British hardcore punk band Discharge, little-known figures outside the punk circuit but fearsomely revered figures within. Considered one of the founders of the D-beat subgenre – and an influence on thrash metal, black metal and crust punk – Discharge’s metallurgic punk style is best exemplified by their guttural, demonic vocals, performed by frontman/legend Jeff “JJ” Janiak. The comp contains entirely raw and uncut tracks recorded 1977 and 1981, with their unpolished quality lending them an extra hellish bent.
